Vacation Rental Management
For owners who want their property looked after, and guests who value personal support.
I manage a small number of short-term rental properties in Puerto Escondido on behalf of their owners, including booking coordination, guest communication and support throughout the stay. Depending on the property and the owner’s needs, this may include managing platforms such as Airbnb, direct bookings, or both. Whenever possible, I personally welcome guests at check-in to ensure a smooth arrival and share local recommendations for an enjoyable stay. I also offer selected vacation properties for direct booking, including homes I do not personally manage but offer in collaboration with their owners or property managers - giving guests the option to book directly through me.
What this is
Management and booking support for owners: listing setup and pricing, guest communication, cleaning and maintenance coordination, check-in and check-out, and reporting. You can list your property here as an owner on a colaboration-base, too.
What this is not
Not a booking platform. Availability is confirmed personally, payments are handled by the owner's channels or directly by the owner, and this site takes no payments.
For owners: what management covers
I set a property up, get it booked and then keep it running: listing setup and photography, pricing across high and low season, guest communication in three languages, cleaning and laundry coordination, maintenance, and a clear monthly statement.
Every property is different. Depending on your property's needs, additional services such as professional photography, listing creation on booking platforms, furnishing, upgrades or larger improvement projects can be arranged. Recommendations, scope of work and costs are discussed individually and tailored to your property.
I deliberately keep the portfolio small. A manager with sixty properties cannot answer a guest at 11pm or notice that your water pump is about to fail. I can, because I am not managing sixty properties.
Practical things I handle so you do not have to: coordinating the cleaner and the pool service, restocking consumables, dealing with the gas truck, meeting technicians, organizing maintenance work, checking the place after storms, and telling you honestly when something needs real money spent on it rather than patching.
For guests: booking a place
Message me and tell me your dates, how many people, your budget, and what matters to you: surf access, a pool, quiet, walking distance to restaurants. I will tell you which area and which of my properties fits and, if none of them do, where else to look. I would rather point you elsewhere than put you somewhere wrong.
There is no live calendar on this site, on purpose. Availability changes daily and a stale calendar is worse than no calendar. You get an answer from me, usually within the hour.
Once you book, you have me for the whole stay: organizing your airport pickup, restaurant recommendations that are actually current, and someone to call if anything is not working correctly or you want to arrange a boat trip.
Where to stay in Puerto Escondido
Zicatela is the surf and nightlife strip: lively, walkable, with powerful waves that are not for swimming. La Punta is slower and younger, with the beginner-friendlier point break, and plenty of restaurants, cafés and bars. Rinconada is residential and walkable to Playa Carrizalillo and Playa Manzanillo, the best swimming beaches. Along with Bacocho it is one of the quieter parts of Puerto Escondido, with more families and retired residents.

Common questions
- Can I book a vacation rental directly on this site?
- No, and that is deliberate. You send me your dates over WhatsApp or the contact form and I confirm availability personally, usually within the hour. It means you get a real answer about the property rather than a calendar that may be out of date.
- What does management cost for an owner?
- It is a percentage of booking revenue, agreed in writing before we start. Rates in Puerto Escondido are generally around 20%, and the exact figure depends on the property. A turnkey apartment and a house with a pool and a garden, or a new build and an older property, are different jobs. I will quote you honestly after seeing the place.
- Do you handle guest problems at night?
- Yes. That is a large part of why owners use a local manager instead of a remote service. Guests have my number and I answer it. Not every problem can be resolved 24/7, but I take care of it as soon as I can, and I am reachable.
